MY PURPOSE
From Maci:
"Best buddies is a way to make friends and include people with special needs. We play games, eat snacks, play outside and do a lot more. Best buddies makes me feel important. It also probably makes other people feel important, too. It's fun, exciting, and most importantly inspiring - to kids who have special needs and kids who want the world to be inclusive.
This summer I was invited to represent my school, and the state of Maine, at the Best Buddies Leadership conference at Indiana University. We will be learning about leadership skills to bring back to our school to make our school a better and more inclusive place. We will also make new friends, learn about other schools and learn about other people. I am raising money for the travel and conference costs and really appreciate anyone who can help me achieve this goal!"
